Can the Rockets give him some handful of back up minutes please? Newton can absolutely be quality player of the bench at most and at minimum provide a breather for some starters.

He faked Spencer off the floor and blew by him. I felt good and bad on that play as it was UConn on UConn crime. I am glad he dunked on that other guy. At first when I started watching the highlight I was worried it was Spencer that was going to get dunked on.

they might have a chance of getting a playoff spot via the play-in but it will be a quick 4 game sweep

Hawkins has gotten a little run (20 minutes or so) the last two nights. Was 3-3 on Thursday from three, but shot 2-8 (1-4 from 3) yesterday.

Now that I’ve come down from the high of Sunday, there’s actually been a lot of good performances in the NBA

Castle played 4 games in about a week. 19/7/6, 15/3/9, 22/10/20, 21/8/10

McNeeley got time in 2 games. 7pts/6reb in 10 minutes, then 10pts/6reb in 11 minutes. Really good output in a short period of time

Andre Jackson started and played 33 minutes while a lot of Bucks players were out with injury a few days ago. 13 points and 6 rebounds. Second highest scoring game of his career

Cam has had a good 2 game stretch. 16pts/5ast on 6-9 FG and 4-5 3P shooting. 11pts/10ast on 4-7 FG and 3-4 3P shooting

Hawkins had a solid game a few days ago. 9 points on perfect 3-3 shooting from three

Clingan has hit a rough stretch scoring. Single digits in 4 of his last 5. Last two games also had 5 or less rebounds. But 15+ rebounds in the other games. One game with 5 blocks and another with 7 in that stretch. Cooled off from three, 1-9 in the last 5 games
