See auror's post #6 and then watch the replay. Wemby's foot got stepped on by Embiid. I am not saying it should be called a foul, but it certainly shouldn't have been called a technical foul. Good on the referee for owning her mistake, but she shouldn't have been so eager to call the technical in the first place.
In her defense there’s probably a ‘protect Wemby’ mandate to refs

NBA officiating has been at an all time low but this past week reached new levels. In a Lakers vs Kings game Domantas Sabonis was angrily clapping at his teammates for not getting a defensive rebound and was called for a technical(not rescinded), in Warriors vs TWolves Brandin Podziemski clapped at an official to get him to stop play to clean up a spilled drink courtside and was tee'd up(technical rescinded after the other officials explained to the other what was going on) and then last night's Drummond technical/ejection that wouldn't have been overturned without replay.

Still can’t believe what happened with Andre. Just never seen a guy get thrown out of a game, then brought back out lol. Do they get a call from the league office in real time on that? Same for Wemby, like “hey the guy trips over a foot, take away the flop T”. How else would they know

That’s what I mean though - they reviewed that, rescinded Andre T and gave one to Wemby. Maxey even took and made the FT.

Good point, they should have been able to see Wemby tripped on review

Ahh I did that ignore thread thing by accident. Was surprised we heard nothing with all our guys getting some minutes lately. Thanks.

It's like the NBA is purposely pushing fans as far away from their product as possible. For a lifelong fan it's sad, the league has become close to unwatchable lately.

Popovich hasn't coached a game since early November
Pop wasn’t coaching..
Check any Spurs fan pages or Discord servers. Some think that it is due to Pop getting some coaching control back now that he is starting to recover. People dont think that Mitch is making 100% of these decisions on his own.

The ring on the left is the '24 title ring, but what's the ring on the right for?

It could be Big East Champs…but I thought the guys were given back to back rings also. So even though he was only on the 2nd team, I believe they all got another.

Could be wrong but I remembered Donovan talking about the back to back ring.

That is my understanding also. The 2nd ring is for back to back national championships.

This is the back to back ring. I'm thinking only guys that were on both championship teams got this ring?

I'm thinking you may be right and the other ring is the BET title ring.

So that means several guys (and coaches) are rocking '23, '24, BET, AND back to back champs rings??

That probably makes more sense.

One for the thumb for Diarra, Johnson and Karaban in 2025? :)

Not to jinx anything, but Samson, Hassan, and Karaban won't have enough fingers on 1 hand to wear all that bling if they run it back again this year. Lol
A 3-peat would mean a '25 ring, 3-peat ring, and also another BET title ring too. But I'm getting way ahead of myself.
