Ooof, all I watched was the Knicks game.
That was the first NBA game I've watched this year, and man, Josh Hart is such a likable player.

With the Rangers crapping the bed this year, my NHL interest has waned, and this is the best the Knicks have looked in a long time. Fun, hard-working team and they don't play the type of boring 3PT/Iso NBA-style basketball that drives me nuts. I'll watch more regular season games this year and will lock in during the playoffs.

The NY Knicks are practically a recruiting pitch and informercial to recruits for Villanova.

AJ just had another nasty putback dunk, was hoping with Dame and Giannis out he might get to handle the ball more but still more of just standing in the corner/dunkers spot

Loaded NBA slate yesterday that I sadly couldn’t watch because I’m in Europe. Why am I spending my time in Europe on the boneyard? Great question!
  • Clingan: 13 minutes, 4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals (1 of which being the game-sealing steal on a Hail Mary inbound)
  • Hawkins: 5 points on 1-8 FG (0-6 3P)
  • Tyrese: 5 points, 5 rebounds on 1-4
  • AJax: 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists on 3-5 including that crazy putback dunk
  • Cam had no stats in 2 garbage time minutes
Other crazy NBA news: 4 game winners (Scoot Henderson vs Utah, Jordan Poole vs Charlotte, Tyler Herro vs Orlando, Jaden Ivey 4pt play vs Sacramento), Grizzlies 155 point game (Edey had 21pts/16reb), Hawks outscored the Bulls 50-25 in the 4th quarter

Forget our guys getting scraps for minutes. I want an all Huskies NBA team next year:
Starters:
Steph
Cam
Hawk
AJ
DC

Bench:
Martin
TNew
AK
Liam
Sanogo

May only win a few games, but at least they’d get some real PT

Christmas Day slate delivered and then some today
Compare these games to the dreck the NFL presented over the last couples of days. Yet the NBA is "in trouble".

This weekend was more than a couple of days ago. I was contrasting the difference in the featured games of the two leagues. Your Giants won't be in a featured game for the foreseeable future.

Steph played 8 mins 0 points 4 turnovers, yikessss.
He’s been pretty bad over last 7 or so and downright awful last 3. His shooting specifically. Perhaps hitting a rookie cliff.

The Grizzlies got blown out by the Thunder without Morant, but it led to some minutes for Cam. He had 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in 22 minutes. He only shot 1-5, though, and 1-3 from three.

Steph had a few bad shooting games and then a minor shoulder injury. No big deal. But the problem for him is that Vassell is playing a lot more and Steph is getting less minutes with Wemby and CP3 (as well as less overall minutes obviously). Steph looked great as a starter when Vassell was coming back from injury slowly.
