We realy need to find an in-house upgrade to Moriarity. His bat is killing this offense. Hopefully one of the freshman get hot with the bat.
 
Well...the first third of the game was quality UConn Baseball. Let's regroup and get at Coastal.
 
Seems like we are starting to come alive in the bottom of the 8th. Bases loaded, 1 out. Do something!
 
Always nice to see a late game rally. UConn just picked up two runs, just walked in the door back from the women's basketball game.

Oh well, game over.
 
Surprised they didn't use Phillips as a PH in K-Fed's spot in the 8th. You have Chiovitti and Brodnansky to play RF. Phillips is usually clutch in those spots. We needed a crooked number in the 8th.
 
Mason is currently stretching and throwing like he will be pitching at some point in the coastal game.

Severe lack of hitting by Moriarty is getting Lucas more looks. When the bat goes south and the player isn't doing the job, Penders has always looked at other alternatives.
