Mike Burrows pitched yesterday in the high school tournament, and hit 95 on the radar gun according to this story:

Assuming Burrows comes to Storrs, I would think he will get a look for weekend starter his freshman year, just as Anthony Kay, Tim Cate, and Mason Feole did. Ronnie Rossomando too, except it didn't work out with him.

Saw Lucas play today. 2-2 & an IBB. Played amazing at SS. Has enough range & athleticsm to play SS at next level.
Prep beat East Hartford 1-0 on a throwing error in bottom 7.

Class LL double dip tomorrow in Waterbury....Four really good teams and some great players on display including Husky commits, Lucas and Winkel.

Semifinal Notes:

• Amity faced the three other LL semifinal teams during the regular season, going 1-4.
• Fairfield Prep and Cheshire did not face each other in SCC play.
• Ridgefield lost to Amity, 8-5, in early April.
• The SCC has five teams in the semifinals: Amity, Branford, Cheshire, Fairfield Prep and Guilford
• The FCIAC has two teams in the semifinals: Ridgefield and St Joes
