Twin brother...Teddy is a left-handed, OF/P

Great kids both great students with great character, from a great family. I've coached them and gotten to know them very well. I heard that Andy was close to committing. He's a tough, hand-nosed kid. High energy, tireless work ethic. Slick- fielding 2B, with great speed. He's a great fit for the program.

This left-handed hitter has major juice in his hands. The ball jumps off his bat, he drove it well to both gaps.
At first base, his footwork needs improvement. He has soft hands and can catch the ball, but needs to have his feet in the correct place. If he gets his body into better shape, it will allow him to do some serious damage offensively.

If Tim should ever get to the Major Leagues, at 14 letters he would tie Jarrod Saltalamacchia for longest last name for any one to ever play in MLB. Obviously, that possibility is a bit down the road.

It's cool that Lucas committed. If anyone remembers the Fairfield LL team that went to the World Series in 2012, he was their best player. Even threw a no hitter for them against Indiana. Awesome to see a prospect with potential like that stay on track and get to the point where he's good enough to play for us.

Penders has quietly been doing a really good job of bringing home high-caliber CT talent from that part of the state. Fairfield County kids tend to be predisposed towards programs like Duke and UNC, but the more inroads we can make against them, the better.

That more or less confirms the good feeling I was getting about UConn recruiting over the next couple of years. In addition, I've read some good things about the recruiting class that is due to show up in Storrs the year before for the 2018 season, with players like Christian Fedko and Luke Broadhurst. Have you seen any rankings on that class?
