Men UConn Baseball 2026

It seems like Marshall, Menzel, Rispoli, Dalena, and Lane might start in the infield. And then Minick and maybe Wachter as two of the outfielders? If so who is the third outfielder? Curious to hear who people think will be in the starting lineup.
Yeah that would be my guess. Then I was thinking Chase Taylor or Chris Polemeni for the last OF spot with Steve Thomas or Peyton Jemison DHing.

1. Rispoli SS
2. Menzel 2B
3. Minick CF
4. Dalena 3B
5. Marshall 1B
6. Watcher LF
7. Lane C
8. Thomas/ Jemison Dan Hurley
9. Polemeni/ Taylor RF

I think it will be Thomas filling the Dan Hurley and Polemeni filling out the other corner OF spot.

Let me know what you guys would change if anything. I’m ready for the season to begin!!!

UConn recruited a great Freshman class. These guys need to play. I know they were facing the end of ASU's staff, but Detwiler and Righi looked like they deserve more ABs. Would love to see the Freshman pitchers get in too.

Like Penders said first few weeks guys who will play (most over course of season) will work themselves out- so if there is production or good plate appearances you can bet there will be more.

Marshall batted 10-for-23 with four runs scored, six RBI, two home runs and four walks earned in a 3-2 week for the Huskies.
