Did anyone else hear someone yell from the bench (CD or Shea?): "Come on, Stewie! Run!" Just then Stewart broke from a half-assed jog up the court into a sprint. Got yanked right after that.

Yeah I caught that as well.

I heard it.

You see this kind of thing in basketball and even hockey. Teams will have a collective lack of energy issue and it's hard to fix during the game. UConn's talent will allow them to win but that won't make the coach feel any better.

Well, some positives from the first half; our majority-bench lineup held Memphis to 16 points in the half and Chong's shot looks pretty good.

Otherwise, this was a very, very ugly 20 minutes of basketball.

Nurse gets bailed out on that drive. She's not making smart decisions on that end. Playing hard though.

2-2 from the line for Gabby, both looked great. That's 4 straight made for her.

Now there's a nice decision from Nurse, and she makes the jumper.

Makes you wonder if we will see Stewart and Tuck come out like animals on Monday night. And if so can they harness that energy/anger in to dominant playing or will they be foul machines early.

Refs calling a much tighter game on the home team, all of a sudden.

This is when you learn something about your players. How do respond? Do they take it as a challenge that they've been called out and benched? Or do they sulk? I'm guessing/hoping the former.

I think that is Geno's ploy.

Don't think Stewart, Tuck, or Stokes are going to see the floor again today.

Every time Ekmark tries to force a drive baseline I cringe.

Great block and save from Gabby.
