Some are too focused on points - like many in the media. Points should never be "the measure" of a basketball player.

Nika is a complete player with balanced stats and terrific defense. I will say it here, Nika is a "throw back" guard like Sue and Jen. You can't ask for more.

Nika is the engine that runs the bus. Geno has been saying this since her freshman year. Case closed!!

From time to time perhaps folks can look back on a young lady, a coaches kid, grew up in dad's system where he didn't keep a score book

because that was not the only or best way to measure success. The kid was Kelly Faris, who was recognize most for being the defensive player of the year in her senior season and if not for Griner might have won it at least one other year. She made UConn tick much the same as Nika does now.

LOL. With all the injuries we have accumulated this season, I'm surprised nobody has gotten hurt from all these chest pumps.
