Like it or not it has always been the Penders way to give his guys the green light and very aggressive approach. Guys swinging for the fences with 2 strikes as opposed to looking to just make contact.

I can't complain about that play. I've always liked the two out steel attempt at 2B, and Prato usually does well with the stolen base. Otherwise, absent the steel, it generally takes two hits to score the run. Percentage wise, it is a good play.

I've always had trouble with the use of steel or steal. I had a thought that it was wrong when I wrote it.
