UConn and its bracket - the first two rounds at Gampel

I moved the other thread to the General board. It had few posts about UConn. Please take discussions about non-UConn teams there

I just might take the over on this one. UTSA only averaged 60 points a game, averaged 40 rbds, 13.4 asts, 7.3 stls, 3.5 blks, 18.2 TO's, with a 39.4 FG%, 69.4 FT% and 29.3 3pt%.
I agree! And the spread will increase during the week for those reasons & because bettors love to wager on UCONN.

As I posted in another thread, we saw UTSA play USF in January. We have season tickets to USF..USF won 70 - 53.

UTSA was middle of the pack in the American but they won the tournament.

We are bigger, faster and stronger. Our defense will tear them apart.

I know the record isn’t very good. But they are the AAC champions. You know… the league we used to be in? The league our good buddies south Florida are in.

I am surprised we aren’t getting a team from a weaker conference.

29th would be an 8.

To me UConn matches up far too well with them to even think about complaining.

Iowa State was 16-4 when Addi Brown played, 6-5 when she didn't.

Really shouldn't be a 2nd round matchup for UConn.

Thank you, I was going to post. Arizona won the play in but lost the 1st round game, thus not facing Connecticut. It was Arizona's last NCAA appearance.

Connecticut's opponents for the first 2 rounds are certainly not an issue. The top seeds - except for the notable Stanford loss to Harvard - have never not advanced to the Sweet 16.

Have you guys forgotten last year already? I’m pondering paying big bucks to fly up from Florida just to watch Audi chase Blanca for 20 minutes. In case the print is too small - it says UConn 101, Iowa State 68, and that was an early season game before the defense improved. Azzi didn’t play in that game, either

Add Stanford’s 2023 loss to Ole Miss in the round of 32.

If the games hold up, we can finally get to see what all the fuss is about with this Audi Crooks.
