I don’t believe he actually threw a pitch in the 1st game. They caught the runner trying to steal home for last out of inning.

He came in with the count 1-1 threw a strike and then they tried the steal. So 1 pitch. ( and the throw home for the out) I just went back and watched the replay.

If you put it in play against Georgetown team, they are going to make some mistakes. That’s how we won the series there earlier this year.

Minick is the one freshman who has established himself as a solid performer on this team. Maybe Ben Schild could as well if and when he returns from his hip injury.

A 1 out double off of Sullivan drives in a run, 7-6 UConn with 2 runners in scoring position.

A run scores on an error by Broadhurst to tie the game at 7, runners on the corners. Sullivan gives up a 1 out walk to load the bases. Sullivan comes out of the game, Van Emon takes the mound.

Van Emon gets a strikeout and a fly out to end the inning with no more runs coming in. Game tied at 7.
