Thanks to Ben Casparius and his great and gutty performance today in going 7 innings today, the UConn bullpen is in excellent shape for tomorrow. Willis only threw 7 pitches today, and Wurster 16. Pretty much all hands on deck for tomorrow.

Haus is good for going multiple innings. If Casparius had come out after the 5th or in the 6th inning, I suspect we would have seen Haus.

If I remember correctly, the UConn coaching staff used to let the pitchers take a turn at batting practice whenever the pitching staff threw a shutout. I wonder if UConn baseball are still doing that?
