By the way, this is the best sounding UConn baseball MIXlr broadcast I've heard in quite some time. Perhaps Chris Jones finally gets to be in a press box in a game away from Storrs.

Top 3rd, Bushling with a very good over the shoulder catch to help Peterson to a scoreless inning. Peterson faces the minimum after he picks off a runner at 2nd for the final out.

Top 4th, back to back 2 out doubles for Xavier brings in a run to make it 5-1 going to the bottom of the 4th. Peterson at 55 pitches.
 
Bottom 4th, 2 walks and an error in between loads up the bases for UConn with no out. Stock with a sac fly to make it 6-1 with runners on the corners. Pat Winkel with an rbi ground out to make it 7-1.

Top 6th, the first 2 Xavier batters reach, then Peterson strikes out 2, then gives up a walk to load the bases. A pop up ends the inning. Have to figure that will be it for Peterson tonight, as he threw 29 pitches that inning. 9-1 UConn.
