Yup, TERRIBLE caught stealing call. WSU runner was pretty much dragging his junk across 2nd base before the tag was put on him. I’ll take it tho. Make up for the awful calls behind the plate bottom 1st.

Ughh. Winkel caught in a pickle on a come back shot to the pitcher. 2 outs, runners on 1 & 2. Prado up. Need something here.

WTF Woodworth. We ran our way out of an inning. Picked off st 2nd.
 
UConn has had a few runners caught off 3B in recent games on come backers to the mound. The runners are going on contact, but it is starting to happen way too often.
 
Amazing how that same pitch that was a ball earlier for Gardner, is being called a strike for their lefty.

You know me, I rarely think stealing 3B is a good play. The percentages just aren't good. Potential gain doesn't justify the potential loss of a man at 2B.
 
Gardner hit by a line drive, he's likely to be coming out. Dandeneau has been warming up.

For what it’s worth, Chase walked off the field on his own power, was slightly moving his arm that got hit and had movement in his fingers
 
Dandeneau comes in to pitch with a runner on 2B and 1 out. Gets a strikeout on his first batter.
 
A walk and another strikeout from Dandeneau ends the 5th inning. 5-3 Wichita State. It's great to have Dandeneau back.
 
Good work by Dandeneau. Gave up the walk but got out of the inning with no damage. Come on bats.
