Why do we shoot ourselves in the foot constantly with foolish base running?
 
Chris Jones speculating that Dan Rajkowski will make his return to the mound during the midweek games that are coming up. He doesn't think UConn will bring him back in a conference game now.

We can look so good one day and man look so bad another. Absolutely shooting themselves in the foot today.
 
Thought a sweep was likely given out pitcher was better than theirs. Not a good game at all. These kind of errors half way through season is ugly. Get out of there with series win and take care of business in mid week.
 
For those not watching the game. Chase is in the dugout with a large ice-wrap on his arm. Seems in good spirits

UCONN has played poorly, but today's home-plate Ump is a complete joke.
 
Top 7th, WSU misplay in the field leads to two UConn runs. 7-5, 1 out, with a runner on 3B.

As unfortunate they’ve been with the umpires and as poorly as UConn has played, it’s a miracle they’re in this game

Not sure why we tend to classify Poulin and Wallace as 1A and 1B of our bullpen. As far as I'm concerned you can throw them all in a hat, one day their great, one day they stink. Have to have someone stand out down the stretch and become more consistent.

UConn has been fortunate that WSU bats were fairly quiet Friday
I really thought there was a great chance for a sweep today but a 2-1 series weekend win is nice - now UConn has to take care of weekday biz

Right now UConn has a bigger problem with all the injuries to pitchers. I can see a lot off pitchers getting more time on the mound than they should with all the injuries. The Huskies don't have that many bodies that they can go to.
