vs Texas
This doesn't feel like a team right now that is built to blow out. And Miller knows Hurley. Huskies by 11.Love watching Sean Miller lose. Texas is really not that good this year. As @bendm said UConn to cover.
We’ve become a team that grinds down an opponent like death from a 1000 paper cuts. This is not high octane, it’s a precision based team this year. We defend well but don’t turn over and don’t push, at all. Think about how few breaks we’ve run this year.We haven't really walloped anyone in a while. Hoping this might be it. It would be nice if we played close to our A game. Not saying we will. But it it is in there, somewhere, and looks like it might come out.
Well then, I'm saying we will! I base that on Reed being pre-disastered, Mullins ready to go sick and the rest of the team playing their game. Add in the PBA crowd on a Friday night at 8 and we have the recipe for a 20+ victory. We haven't really walloped anyone in a while. Hoping this might be it. Now up to -15.5. Bettors like UConn I guess.
I hope you’re right. I paced and sweated enough on Tuesday night. I’d love to be sitting on my couch lounging with a beer with no sweating tomorrow night.Well then, I'm saying we will! I agree with some of the things that you have mentioned, however we have not been at full strength. Now that Reed and Mullins are at full strength (or close to) we should see a much different team going forward barring any other injuries and we will start dominating teams. Just look at what we have done without them. Yes, we grounded out most of our games without them. Rome was not built in a day. We’ve become a team that grinds down an opponent like death from a 1000 paper cuts. This is not high octane, it’s a precision based team this year. IDK - I just don't think it's in the cards stylistically with this group. Wear you down type of team not a run past kind of team.I agree with some of the things that you have mentioned, however we have not been at full strength.
