I was just in Paris and was surprised to see how many nonstop flights there are to Syracuse. Not! ;)

Go where the good players are, nest-ce pas?

Stanford picks up their second 2017 commitment of the weekend.

Two of their three visitors this weekend have now verbaled to play for Tara.

Moschkau is a Wing/Stretch forward, who has pretty good range, according to a cheesehead buddy of mine from Wisconsin. With Karlie Samuelson a senior this year, this seems like a sensible "get" to add to Brittany McPhee, who came off the bench last year.

If Dodson (their other visitor) gets into Stanford, she is going there. Academics is the main priority for her.

ESPN #28 Point Guard Amaya Brown being recruited by all the big guns other then UConn

Cibola basketball star Amaya Brown enjoys recruiting
The plot thickens with Amaya Brown because the UCONN recruiting page says she has a UCONN offer. The recruiting page has been that way for a while at least since Spring 2016. A few of us @Sluconn Husky were looking for other confirmation of this offer. This article does not even mention UCONN is among the schools pursuing her.
Even more strange same paper same Author 1 year earlier stating UCONN interest.
It appears Cibola’s Brown has gotten Uconn’s attention

Based on? The same sources that gave you "[Cox] has been Notre Dame's to lose for a while now" and "If McCoy goes to OSU, which I don't think will happen..."

or is this your own analysis in the vein of "Very much doubt we strike out in 2016" (referring to Tennesseee)?

From two owners of recruiting services that are quotes often on this board :)

This is not a news flash, but have you noticed the pattern and consistency that Stanford adheres to? The majority (except guards) of the players H/C VanDerveer recruits are at least 6'2"? The height of these two latest recruits? 6'2". A quick look at this year's Cardinal roster shows that the only players under 6'2" are all guards.

I'm not sure Stanford's roster is any different than most teams. ND, Baylor, South Carolina for example 6'2" makes you a forward for the most part and the only exception on UCONN roster is KLS list as G/Forward.

Hopefully Tara will get her courage up and resume the series with UCONN.

Agreed. Stanford always gives UConn a good game. Tara like Doug Bruno (DePaul), has never feared playing UConn. Sometimes you just need a break, and schedule some different teams during the OOC portion of your schedule. She has no reason to fear UConn. She beat them twice in the last 6 years (2010 (71-59) - 2014 (88-86).

This is multiple local articles that fail to mention UConn while mentioning numerous other schools. I don't think the Huskies are in on her anymore.
