What? Who? When?
the aforementioned Alexis Morris of course............you know that UConn gets ALL of the top talent in WCBB!!!
What? Who? When?
From someone who knows, the recruiting process is very confusing to say the least. You have many people pulling you in different ways (parents, friends, coaches, etc). Obviously UCLA was not her choice.

WBB: Alexis Morris (TX-2017), ranked #18 by espnW, has announced her decommitment from UCLA. Baylor is rumored to be her likely choice now.

IMO it's a weak class.

Because Uconn is only recruiting one more 2017 and has moved most of their resources onto the 2018 class and beyond.Strange......I see UConn on this list of top recruits only once......

6'3" F Danielle Patterson out of Mary Louis Acacemy had an excellent unofficial visit yesterday afternoon with Coach Joe Tartamella and SJU
Especially for post players...
On the contrary, it's a relatively strong class for elite point guards. If you need a point guard then this year is the year to snag one.
Patterson, Evans, Carter, Williams, Hayes, Morris, Hall and Duvall are all big time playmakers at point guard.. and that's just in the ESPN HoopGurlz top 25 with only two of them currently committed. There are playmakers outside of the top 25 as well.. Cara Ursin being one of them.
The reason USA did so poorly was due to the lack of any type of leader in this class who knows how to share the ball.Bret McCormick @ASGR1995 3h3 hours ago
Recruits phones will be busy tomorrow Thursday September 1st. D1 college coaches can begin calling the 2018 class(Juniors).
And the really top notch coaches who didn't bother to demand it.Not really, there are just a lot of themThe reason USA did so poorly was due to the lack of any type of leader in this class who knows how to share the ball.

Well thats only if you think every USA youth coach is a top notch coach. I think the US has been able to win despite coaching but not with these classes. And the really top notch coaches who didn't bother to demand it.
Phone would self-destruct. Taking all the calls would be mission impossible.
I think you missed my sarcasm. Some of them have no idea what they're doing.Well thats only if you think every USA youth coach is a top notch coach. I think the US has been able to win despite coaching but not with these classes.
UT is nice, though not UCLA nice. Austin is a very cool city. Now nice is the UT campus? UCLA is really nice and in a great area.

Lady Vols hope for ‘huge year’ in recruiting
Hoping is not a plan, and this article does not even scratch the surface of the recruiting pickle that TN finds itself in.
The true depth of the pickle is illustrated by one name mentioned in the article-Dorie Harrison. Dorie is the younger sister of Izzy and has been ranked as a top 10 post in the class for 2 years now. If TN had a plan they would have secured Dorie services a long time ago. Did not realize that Jade Williams had expanded her list of school to include TN but I suspect that Jade is doing what many other HS players are doing-listing TN as a courtesy. Only time will tell.
Not really, as I said, time will tell. How many kids took official visits to TN last year?Since they can only take five total official visits, that's a lot of courtesy visits, when they could visit a school they were actually interested in right?
