U16 Trials

2017 U16 team had Celeste Taylor, Kylee Watson and Diamond Miller

thanks for that..............sadly none of them ended up at UConn.............I really hope that's not the case this time..........

Don't believe so. Christyn has an older sister who accompanied her on some of her recruiting visits but I'm not aware of her having a sister that would be playing at U16.

Who's the biggest competition for the USA next year?
Ran over everyone else in 2018 under berube. Thought France would be competitive but wasn't the case.

The U16 team played and defeated a local group of highschool boys in a scrimmage on Monday. Couple videos below:

Article on the possible evolution of the post game in the women's basketball. Lots of quotes from Amari DeBerry and Lauren Betts.

During Team USA's exhibition against The Force Basketball, a local AAU team, in preparation for the FIBA Americas U16 Championship from Sunday to June 22 in Puerto Aysen, Chile, Betts' farthest shot was a short-corner jumper from about 12 feet . Of course, she made it.

Nonetheless, the incoming sophomore at Grandview High School in Centennial didn't need to stretch the floor due to her height advantage in the exhibition. She spent nearly all her time in the post, catching lobs and scoring with ease. On defense, she accumulated more blocks than you could count on one hand.

I love Miles' game. A Bueckers-Miles backcourt would be endlessly entertaining.
I loves Miles also & while a Bueckers-Miles backcourt would be highly entertaining a Bueckers-Fudd backcourt might just be unbeatable. PS I am highly entertained by championships. You?

While Miles is not the shooter that Fudd is
(No one in HS is), I think she can do just about everything else equally as well.

The first game can be seen here at 3:30pm ET on Sunday:

No guarantees on whether it will be in English or Spanish.
