Tulane Game Thread

no time went off when lou knocked out the first in bound attempt, second attempt shouldn't have counted. The refs are making this 8 on 5

Nice execution by Tulane at the end of the 3rd. Set up by Lou's late foul.
Presumably, hopefully, she knew they weren't in the bonus. Taking a risk then could be good play.

UConn has already beaten all of rhem

Is that a guarantee they will in the future? No. They are getting exposed tonight in a big way. Do they have time to fix their issues? Of course but it remains to be seen whether they will or not. Granted Geno has a pretty damn good track record at doing so but all I am saying is tonight is a chink in UConn's armor for the rest of the country.

Gabby not yet impacting the game.

First game in a while a team has defended us. It's the only way to stay with us.

Teams have learned to play us physically. Our Achille's heal is our depth.

Well, you only need to win by 1 point. This is regular season. This game means zero in the grand scheme. Geno has publicly said he hopes this team loses a game. I suspect he wants to see how the team responds. Of course he will coach to win, but with 4 fouls, I suspect we won't see her till about 5-6 minutes left. I think that's why he's fairly calm. He wants to see how the players respond...

Rough start to the 4th quarter for Tulane, perhaps we can ice this one here

Hey TT; Nat just got a block and a rebound! How about that?

When have we seen Crystal Dangerfield fake that outside 3 and go inside?

Likewise, this game isn't a predictor of future problems, either

No different then any other team............add injury, foul trouble and poor execution and there's always a chance you can lose..........Geno has been preaching this from day one this season..........nothing that future opponents aren't fully aware of.............oh and I forgot, add bad refereeing................
