She is not injured according to everything I read she has a bone bruise. You get a bone bruise every time you fall on your knee. She needs to grow up and play hurt and tough.Get well, Morgan. You are an important part of the team.

CD has had numerous ACL's and it would take another to keep her out of a game. I don't buy coddling her she knew when she came to UConn it was the big leagues.I'd rather not have our all american freshman, who had an ACL injury in the past, try to tough anything out. She is going to be an enormous part of how well UCONN does in the next 3 years, let's make sure she makes it there.

I too played Football and Wrestled also played games with a mouth full of broken teeth as middle guard on D and RT on O so you are preaching to the choir on that score. The point I was trying to make is if she is injured then it is not a BONE BRUISESal, I'm sorely tempted to break some BY rules here, but I'll abstain. I will say, the team has a medical staff, and, a good one. They're on top of it, in person, daily. I'd bet my mortgage they've got a better handle on it than you do.
And, in case you feel like getting macho on me too, I'm an ex-defensive lineman. I know something about playing hurt, playing in pain, etc.. I'll defer to the team leadership on this one.
In the same blog as the one that spoke about Tuck they spoke about KML who has just as great an opportunity to be great yetI respect your opinion but CD is taking a victory lap around Storrs and has no chance of playing basketball after college. I love her but it's the truth. Morgan's potential is through the roof and she is 4 grades younger than CD. There's just no need push her when these upcoming games are against weaker competition.
Also bad penmanship and soFor a doctor, you sure got lousy punctuation.
Good for you.<----- played football on atari and sony growing up..... also watched plenty of NWA wrestling back in the day as well Sprained my ankle playing indoor tennis in high school for good measure.
No such thing as an ex-DL...you're only deactivated. Now drop and give me 20!...I'm an ex-defensive lineman.

Everyone wants to see all the members of the team healthy but a bruise is not an ACL. KML is playing hurt Caroline is playing hurt Hartley is playing hurt Stokes is playing hurt. Of course the trainers and medical staff have seen her but you can't x-ray a bruise or get an MRI of a bruise all you can do is see a Black and blue or listen to the player who says it hurts.I watched Morgan play all through high school. I saw her come back from a ACL in roughly 5 months and go on to win a state championship. She is plenty tough. A bone bruise takes a long time to heal. I'm sure she has had a medical opinion as well as her trainers recomendations. Get well Morgan !
