If we somehow come out of this with Chillious, a big and Waters while losing Enoch, Jackson, and MAL, I won't really mind.

Doesn't sound like that's remotely happening, but I could totally be on board with Diarra, Banks and Chili. That's at least more in the realm of possibility.

yeah it was definitely a big "if"

Pretty much, KO prioritized the recruit who seemed like he was actually interested in coming here(before all the chaos), which is what posters like CTB criticize him for not doing with other recruits.
Not criticism at all. We prioritize some and others fall by the wayside. It will be difficult to jump back into the recruitment of those we put off.

Cuse feels that an Ayala reclassification and a commitment is a lock for them.

.-.
Cuse is after eric ayala not waters
Figured this. Unsure of our shot with PSA players since Miller was our POC with them. We were late in the Ayala sweepstakes anyways.

They weren't late at all, Cuse came in the picture way later, but yea Miller being ousted might affects things.

MAL is a strange looking dude. Reminds me of a plucked bird.[/QUOTE

Apparently sanctions aren't affecting the cuse.

Some of our best players were odd looking dudes. Donyell Marshall? Rip Hamilton? Khalid El-Amin?

Did he look like a plucked bird a week ago?

Yes, He sure Did!

He just looks like an even weirder looking guy now. PC can have him. Kid will be a flameout.

Yes, apparently since birth. To be 100% honest, I never looked up the kid or checked any video until he decommited so I just realized it when I posted my comment. To the other posters, where's the correlation between me saying he looks like a plucked bird and me saying he isn't a good player? I admit I prefer Waters but that doesn't mean MAL is bad.

On Mike and Mike this morning Pat Ewing mentioned that he was flying to CT this weekend to meet with Tremont and his family to re-recruit him to Gtown.

Not saying that is it likely, but just a note.

Is he allowed to comment on a recruit? Or is it because they haven't officially released him from his LOI?

He never mentioned him by name. Just said that one of his first jobs to be done was to fly to CT tomorrow to meet with a game changing guard who was previously committed to Georgetown. So I guess he avoided the NCAA rules by not mentioning him by name--even though everyone knows exactly who he is talking about.

Apparently sanctions aren't affecting the cuse.

That's because they got to serve their ban in the year of the sanctions (a year they weren't making the tourney).

You get hurt when your ban is projected into future years and players are allowed to leave with no sit-out transfer penalty.

While Roscoe Smith would have left possibly, surely the postseason ban played a large part in his thinking. Oriakhi didn't even have to sit out.

The two circumstances between UConn and Cuse are entirely different.
