Probably not a surprise to the staff but didn't enter portal til after Spring semester most likely so can keep his scholly til graduation this spring and move on. Right thing to do for the kid.

I thought his weight was low but that was from when he was recruited. Surely he's packed on a few pounds to that 6'5" frame, with room to grow more. Best of luck to him.

Nope - my guess is there was a discussion. I actually thought he showed flashes in Houston game and just needed more time in weight room to add mass and strength.

Already had him as not returning. So no, it doesn't add a scholarship.

With Robby Rochester departing we are at 84 (also assumes Cale Millen arrives in summer), leaving us one under the max.
