Not sure if it was already noted, and I’m sure someone already covered it, but CD and DiJonai Carrington are now following one another on twitter.
I know I should know this but who is “CD”?

To me, it seems that these "high profile" transfers were ill-suited for the P5 schools to begin with for any number of reasons-personality, academic, delusion or what have you. I have yet to see one "emerge as a true star" yet. Austin seems solely about a need to be the center of the focus of the team and not about skills or team. Still curious she followed an assistant coach to Ole Miss. Slocum may be "slightly different as Arkansas is still a P5 and would have made the NCAAT so I would be hard pressed to really qualify it as a "lesser program" to the likes of Middle Tennessee or FGCU. Again, when I see one of these ladies make Honorable Mention AA or get drafted, then I will be curious how others play out.
Those Middle Tennessee transfers like Rellah Boothe (Texas) and Anastasia Hayes (Tennessee) had some personal issues that led to their depature from their P5 schools. Hayes had a great year at MTSU, averaging 18.7 pts and named C-USA Newcomer of the year and Boothe has struggled with injuries.

Chris started following DC on twitter at the end of March and got a return follow about a week ago. Makes sense.

Did you ask that question before Megan Walker left early for the WNBA? I don't recall.

I don't recall either. I think Walker is a little bigger than Carrington isn't she?

DJC would be a nice addition even if she doesn't fill our biggest need positionally. She's athletic and experienced.

UConn lost its leading scorer and best three-point shooter a year earlier than expected. Westbrook is coming off surgery. It's not clear why anyone would be surprised that Geno is looking at bringing in an experienced and proven scorer to replace what he got from Megan. Carrington has not shown she can shoot the 3 as well as Meg but she can score and is a good rebounder from the G/W spot. Not sure she'll pick UConn but Geno's interest is not surprising.

Is Geno actually interested or is this just speculation?

Carrington had a really nice game when an overmatched Stanford team played UConn 3 years ago. Her stat line: 8/15 (3/8 from 3), 7 rbs, 21 pts. At 5’11 she has good size for a guard, and has the strength, not unlike Christyn, to take her game into the paint.

Carrington turned out to be the odd-player out when Stanford could bring back only one RS Grad student, which turned out to be Anna Wilson. If Carrington is healthy, she would be a very nice player with experience to add to the roster.

Booth also struggled with keeping her weight down.

Rellah Boothe who opened her mouth about taking down UConn.
But wait - there's more. This is the kid who had these comments in the article by ESPN when she verbaled to Texas back in November 2016. I'm ALL for confidence and moxie, but for her to be "very offended" that she wasn't rated #1 by HG indicated, to me at least, that she was a kid who needed an attitude adjustment.

Boothe, a 6-foot-1 forward at IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida), averaged 22.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game for a 16-12 team last season as a junior.

But she's capable of much more. Just ask her.

"I'm going to show you," Boothe said. "I'm going to average 45 points a game this season."

Rellah Boothe, the No. 3 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2017 class, says she can lead the Texas Longhorns to national championships -- "with an 'S' at the end." Boothe, the No. 3 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2017 class and a 2016 gold medalist with the USA Basketball U18 team, said she's offended to be ranked third. In her mind, she's the best player in the class.

"A lot of people are underestimating me," said Boothe, the top forward in the class. "Me being No. 3 is very false. I feel very disrespected. I'm not bragging or boasting. I just have confidence
