I agree. I’m curious to see how El Ellis pans out at Louisville this coming season.
el ellis? hmm, time to add him to the 'all-alliteration' team, captained by pauly paulicap. of course, akok akok is a starter on that squad. the strunk and white jury is still out on whether kofi cockburn should be on too, cuz
'alliteration:
the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.'

deep thoughts.

Not surprised since I'm sure his options weren't promising the PT he can at UNLV.

Kevin Kruger has been on a tear a the start of his UNLV offseason.
  • Retains Hamilton (17.9 ppg)
  • Brings in two 12 ppg+ transfers from decent mid-major conferences.
    • Mike Nuga (17.8 ppg, 38.5 3p% from Kent State)
    • Justin Webster (12.3 ppg, 37.8 3p% from Hawaii)
  • Brings in four transfers from high-majors
    • Victor Iwuakor from Oklahoma, 10.8 mpg, former #152 prospect. Three years eligibility.
    • Donovan Williams from Texas, 10.3 mpg, former #75 prospect. Three years eligibility.
    • Jordan McCabe from West Virginia, 14.6 mpg, former #113 prospect. Grad transfer.
    • Royce Hamm from Texas, 8.8 mpg, former #90 prospect. Grad transfer.

Huge news for Maryland.

Returning:
  • Their entire starting lineup (82.4% of last year's scoring)
Gaining
  • Four transfers
    • Qudus Wahab from Georgetown, 6'11 237, 12.7p, 8.2r, 1.6b, 59.1 fg% in 27.7 mpg, three years of eligibility remain
    • Fatts Russell from URI, 5'10 165, 14.7p, 4.5a, 1.9s in 33.2 mpg, grad transfer
    • Ian Martinez from Utah, 6'3 181, 15.8 mpg, .495/.325/.839 shooting splits, four years of eligbility
    • Simon Wright from Elon, 6'7 213, 37.5 3p% in 20.7 mpg
  • Two top-100 '21 recruits
    • #57 Julian Reese, 6'9 230
    • #107 Ike Cornish, 6'6 185

If we aren’t going to add the “shooter” that everyone wants, I’d be shocked if Dan Hurley didn’t pick up the phone to gauge interest from one of his favorite players in CBB last year
