Another person who could play the 4 for us but needs a waiver.
He now just designs suits for the modern man.Haha just kidding right? He’s in his 30s been out of school for a decade
Can someone talk me into Stojakovic? He seems like a bigger Mullins and we’d still need a backup 4/5
I saw him play more than a few times for Jesuit HS in Sacramento, was never as impressed as many in the area were. He didn't seem to have that "dawg mentality". His play was spotty; when he was good, he was very good, when he wasn't... Well, he wasn't.Can someone talk me into Stojakovic? He seems like a bigger Mullins and we’d still need a backup 4/5

He had a lot of attention, at least partly due to his last name. Even at the end of his HS career, there were some on my local high-school forum that thought VERY highly, as in one-and-done potential.
I keep any possibly controversial opinions to myself because so many know me; I've even been spotted by players. So, I'd keep my "no way" opinion very quiet. Last thing I wanna do is get some teen player upset.
Anywayyy... His Stanford freshman season went about as I expected, he did little in the floor time he got. I didn't know what to think when he transferred to arch-rival Cal, but he exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. 17.9 points on 43% shooting, 31% from the arc. Not fantastic, but pretty good... Seems like he's grown some 'nads. I never watched him play for Cal, though, so all I have is numbers.
The only player we need that won't have someone transfer is a backup power forward that rebounds and will be there if needed..even if Alex goes..Alex really hamstrung us this offseason
Not a matter of "fretting or backing down." We more often than not are not well prepared for his style of aggressive pressing etc. and often get our ass beat because of it. I guess its hard to devote an inordinate amount of time to their peculiarities and Pitino's teams are just more physical than what we have been putting on the floor. He does have some creepiness but he is a genuine HOF coach.Always looking forward to playing anyone because real UConn Huskies don't fret or back down - especially when one can beat up on a creep like Pitino
Sure at this point I’d take him. He can Compete with Mullins for starting SF.Amending my post about Stojakovic after watching a little of the last Cal-Stanford game... Cal was very shorthanded for that game (in addition to being pretty average), so Andrej was given an even brighter green light than usual... He responded with 37. Very smooth mover, technically solid, anticipates well. I still have my doubts about his physicality, but he could probably fill a 6th-man spot quite well, if he wants it... 6-7 guy as first guard off the bench, might be good...
He had also played 50 minutes in a 4-OT loss against Notre Dame, scoring 21, so maybe my toughness doubts are unfounded??
Spring break 1981. Hung out at U Miami for a few days/nights. Even back then it was a country club. The weather and Coral Gables are nice though.
Didn’t see this one coming.

No reason to not enter the portal as a break glass contingency planBoogie is staying in the draft, it's a non story
Entered the portal with a "do not contact" tag. In other words, don't bother me I'm going to the NBA anyway.Boogie is staying in the draft, it's a non story
