Oswin battling Reed in practice would be awesome for his development.Oswin is going to enter the portal as well. I would gladly take him.

It's a done deal.Looks like he's entering with a "do not contact" listed - smells more and more like Cooley.
Rob Reiner at it again I see. Who was amazing on All in the Family.https://x.com/RealRobReinhart/status/1902420036150542718
Providence’s Bryce Hopkins is nearing a deal to transfer to St. John’s, per multiple sources.

I have not seen anything to indicate Oswin entered the portal the last time I did a simple Google search or looked at Friar Talk. Maybe superjohn saw this somewhere and I have missed it, although I didn't put that much effort into searching for this.Oswin battling Reed in practice would be awesome for his development.
Repole $trike$ again! It's nice to have a billionaire as your sugar daddy!https://x.com/RealRobReinhart/status/1902420036150542718

Back to transfers…
Bryce Hopkins transferring from Providence
I should have said speculation as to him entering the portal.I have not seen anything to indicate Oswin entered the portal the last time I did a simple Google search or looked at Friar Talk. But I have the same question to you as I did him. I fully agree with you battling Reed Jr. in practice would be great for his development, but where would Oswin's playing time come from with Reibe arriving next season? Oswin is not transferring to a place where he is getting paltry minutes. The only way he gets substantial minutes, however many minutes you or other define that, is if he plays alongside Reibe or Reed Jr.
Welcome to 611Ville, a magical land where rainbows stretch across the sky and unicorns gallop freely, all while the sun shines down on ripe fruit just begging to be eaten. Picture a world where hoopsters — those majestic creatures — flock to a university not just to hoop, but to enroll in a program designed to guide them from wide-eyed freshmen to NBA-ready seniors. And get this — never, I repeat, NEVER do they consider leaving for big money. No, no, no! They're too busy being totally immersed in their passion for their school and fans, like the academic warriors they are. Forget about agent calls and sneaker deals. They're staying for the pure joy of development. This, my friends, is the land of 611Ville — where the impossible happens, and dreams come true (unless those dreams involve a paycheck). The fact that these guys may have left after their freshman years nowadays is actually a pretty valid point. I’d think that for everyone but Lamb he wasn’t ready quite yet.
Lamb’s season was disappointing because the team was. Lamb himself improved a ton from his freshman to his sophomore season.
Being a disappointment 2nd team All-American is tough for Rudy too lol
Devin Carter was a transfer. You want to know the list of recent lottery picks that were upperclassmen and stayed with the same program their entire college career? In ‘24 it was Edey and Devin Carter, in ‘23 there was no one, and in ‘22 it was Jalen Williams and Agbaji from Kansas. That’s it.
We are not an outlier in not developing lottery picks over 3-4 years. Outside of a few edge cases, no one is doing it. The folks with that level of talent are leaving after a year or two and developing in the NBA.

Ok - you asked for it though. HansSprungfield can fill in the content blanks. I'll catch you guys next season.Dude, post less.
Completely forgot about that.Devin Carter was a transfer.
I miss Whaley. The trope is just nonsense.
There are years of evidence that players get better. Isaiah Whaley had no idea how to play basketball before Hurley.
You let me know when a player we want leaves us for a check brother!Welcome to 611Ville, a magical land where rainbows stretch across the sky and unicorns gallop freely, all while the sun shines down on ripe fruit just begging to be eaten. He was not slow. Just looked like he should be. A lot of people underestimated him.Khalid El-Amin says hello
Is Reibe a 5 or a 4? Sounds like he’s only a 5 because he’s tall.He would fit well with a Reibe type center though.
Is there a difference these days?Is Reibe a 5 or a 4? Sounds like he’s only a 5 because he’s tall.
Is Iowa’s Josh Dix a possibility? Seems tall and might play point? Never watched Iowa just saw his highlights. pretty solid from deep as well over 40%.
