Today, the Drame twins from St. Peter's signed with La Salle. Both are 6'7 200 and play a bouncy, two-way game with the ability to stretch the floor.

It's been a dormant offseason for Fran Dunphy...The Drames are now just the 5th and 6th scholarship commitments for La Salle.

There are worse places to spend a year than San Diego but it’s crazy that Delaire didn’t end up at a P6. I would’ve loved to see him here but not at the expense of minutes for Karaban, so it makes sense that we didn’t get involved

Was a player I was dreaming about coming here, but he's heading back to San Francisco, one of my favorite programs to follow over the last five years or so.

Todd Golden has done a great job in the portal:
  • Kyle Lofton 6’3 185 GR from Saint Bonaventure, 12.8p, 3.6r, 5.9a, 2s, 28.2 3p% in 38.5 mpg
  • Alex Fudge 6’8 175 SO from LSU, 3.3p, 3.2r, 0.8s, 13.9 mpg, former #57
  • Will Richard 6’5 195 SO from Belmont, 12.1, 6r, 1.8a, 1.2s, 32.6 3p%, 46.8 fg% in 27.6 mpg
  • Trey Bonham, 6’0 180 JR from VMI, 13.6p, 4.4r, 4a, 1.3s, 47.8 fg%, 34.8 3p%, 27.4 mpg
Also, Colin Castleton (16.2p, 9r, 2.2b) and Myreon Jones (8.5p, 1.3s) are sticking around for their fifth years.

Great pick up for the Gators
Trey Bonham is a really guard from VMI also

Another talented player to add to McMahon's squad:

Just amazed at his offseason.

Joins teammate Jaren Holmes.

Iowa State is completely rebuilding their frontcourt with transfers:

  • Osun Osunniyi 6’10 220 GR from St. Bonaventure, 11.3p, 7.5r, 1.5a, 2.9b, 61.3 fg% in 30.6 mpg
  • Tre King, EKU, 6’9 225 senior, 14.9p, 6.2r, 1.5s, 1.2b, 52.1 fg%, career 27.1 3p%.
  • Hanson Ward, 6’9 215 SR from VCU, 6.5p, 4.8r, 1.5b, 55.3 fg% in 20.3 mpg
The Cyclones also return 6'8 forward Alijaz Kunc (6p, 22.4 mpg, 38.9 3p%) and 6'10 big Robert Jones (12.1 mpg, 50 fg%).

Florida won't stay down long. Great winning history, good school, very popular spot.

I was thinking more about it this week and Stretching the Floor is a name that doesn't exist yet for a blog and fits the theme of what I'd want to focus on.

Anyone interested in making a quick logo, hit me up via PM!
You could try to get Tile America, wood flooring, cleaning products, poly/stain, etc companies to advertise.

Ignore the bottom request. Made one a crude one last night that I'm rolling with now.

With the school year winding down, I probably won't write my first post until June, but I started my musings on Twitter today: @stf_ncaa

I'll try to post once per day, maybe more on the weekends. Feel free to follow.

More local news:

East Catholic HS alum and Manchester native Matt Veretto has transferred to Vermont.

The 24 year old, 6'7 wing last played D1 basketball in 18-19 at Delaware where he averaged 6.4p and 39.1 3p% in 20 mpg.

Not confirmed, my guess is at that age he has just one year remaining of eligibility.

Vermont also with a very good HS class featuring two three-year commits with multiple high-major offers: Perry Smith Jr (9 high-major offers) and Jorge Ochoa (2 high-major offers). They also add a Hurley.

I didn’t understand why he stopped playing college basketball after a good freshman season.

Yeah, that was a mystery to me - kid could shoot the long ball
He is someone UConn could use to keep opposing Ds honest a few minutes a game.

Solid pickup for Quinnipiac. Was 247's #236 recruit of '21 and had offers from Creighton, Georgetown, DePaul, St. John's, Illinois, UMass and URI out of HS.
