19) Tristen Newton, 6-5, 190, SG, Soph., East Carolina – UCONN
The Numbers: 17.7 ppg, 5.0 apg, 4.8 rpg, 33% 3-pointers (48-144)
The Scout: “Elite offensive talent. Can pass and shoot at a high level. Must focus more on guarding. When he gains more strength, he will be lethal.”

91) Nahiem Alleyne, 6-4, 195, G, Jr., Virginia Tech – UCONN
The Numbers: 9.6 ppg, 38% 3-pointers (62-166)
The Scout: “Great catch and shoot, and one- or two-dribble pull-up guy. Very good individual and team defender. Limited off-the-dribble creating.”

Seems like the text and the ranking on Alleyne aren't consistent with each other.

In what way, he should be ranked higher?
Well, yeah. If he's a great catch and shoot shooter and pull up guy that means he's a great shooter and if he's very good defensively then it would seem to indicate a better two way player than the 91st ranking. Look at the other text comments of the guys he ranked ahead of him and it ll doesn't seem to make sense.

Sharp averaged 8.2p, 7.9r, 4.6 blocks! and 72.6 fg% in 28 mpg last season.

Major kudos to Dennis Gates and how he's reshaped the Missouri roster:
  • Top scorer (12.5) and rebounder (7.6) Kobe Brown returns
  • Their starting forward and former UMass commit Ronnie DeGray III sticks around (8.3p, 4.6r, almost a steal and a block per game)
  • Top-50 prospect Aidan Shaw came back after reopening his recruitment
  • Six additions in the transfer portal,
    • two from Dennis Gates' previous team, Cleveland State
      • D'Moi Hodge, 15.4p, 2.2s, 6'4 180 GR
      • Tre Gomillion, 10.5p, 4.7r, 2.9a, 6'4 215 GR
    • Nick Honor from Fordham, 7.7p, 2.4a, 5'10 205 SR
    • Jamarion Sharp from WKU, 7'5 225 SR
    • Noah Carter from Northern Iowa, 15p, 4.1r, 6'6 229 SR
    • DeAndre Gholston from Milwaukee, 14.3p, 4.4r, 6'5 215 GR
  • Two top JUCO transfers, led by former UMass commit Sean East (9.2p, 4.4a his sophomore season when he played for Bradley.

Today, the Drame twins from St. Peter's signed with La Salle. Both are 6'7 200 and play a bouncy, two-way game with the ability to stretch the floor.

It's been a dormant offseason for Fran Dunphy...The Drames are now just the 5th and 6th scholarship commitments for La Salle.

There are worse places to spend a year than San Diego but it’s crazy that Delaire didn’t end up at a P6. I would’ve loved to see him here but not at the expense of minutes for Karaban, so it makes sense that we didn’t get involved

Was a player I was dreaming about coming here, but he's heading back to San Francisco, one of my favorite programs to follow over the last five years or so.

Florida won't stay down long. Great winning history, good school, very popular spot.
