His ft shooters missed two straight front ends and Bamba got 2 completely fictional fouls to take them out of the game.

But he should not have blown that TO there at the end. Made it even worse for what he drew up.

I think the TO was far worse. The kid just screwed up the execution, but the challenge of going full court in 3.5 seconds is enormous anyways. He preferred to go full court with 3.5 than side-out with 2.5. Blows my mind.

Oh without question. I'm only saying that he compounded his mistake by calling for that pass; not easy to execute. With that amount of time, you can get a stiff pass for a guy on the run on a curl and get a decent shot off, if not a layup. I mean, I know they don't have Tyus Edney, but still

If i am cincy I would be a little scared vs Nevada. Under rated team. Played like a hot mess for much of the game looking unimpressive for spurts but suddenly wakes up, starts plugging away, did not back down when Texas punched back and wins it. Glad to see another over rated big 12 team out too.

True, but they got manhandled on the boards by Texas (one of Cincy's strengths) and played 5 guys more than 40 minutes and only play six total. Cincy's defensive pressure should wear them down.

I am enjoying the hell out of these games. But the ugliness of this program over the last 4 years has been seared so indelibly in my mind that it's impossible not to notice the contrast.

For sure I miss seeing uconn and spending Sunday until Thursday or Friday worrying about that first match up and another 5 or 6 days, typically, worrying about the s16 matchup.

The officials basically did everything possible to keep Nevada in it and send Texas home.
