Kolek looks really good. I was worried he was done for the year, or would be really limited at best, but he has Marquette looking like they could give Houston a game.
Me too, I have to imagine he's in serious pain but it doesn't seem to be showing much.

Kolek still seems to be protecting his injury by not taking three-point shots.

Yeah, he sort of looks like he’s just toying with Colorado so far.

Interesting, he definitely looked uncomfortable with it at the end of the clock and then shoveled it to Jones who nailed one.

Marquette is operating at a high rate on offense, BUT... now that they are out of the BE, they are not nearly as aggressive on D as they are usually.

I'm sure they'll turn it up second half when they're sure they are not in foul trouble.

Marquette needs to be careful. Colorado can score. Would really like to see a double digit 1/2 time lead considering how sharp they look.

The problem with this game for Colorado is that both teams have picked up right where they left off the other night, but while for Marquette that means "dominating both ends," for Colorado that means "allowing a 100 point pace."

Kam is smoking lately and Marquette is really starting to fly around.

I think a few Colorado players think this is an AAU game.

Good defensive end for Marquette there. Colorado has the talent to make a come back, so they have to keep attacking in the second half.

Marquette shooting 68% including 85% from 2 isn't going to hold up, but they don't need it to with an 11 point cushion.

Whoever has Over 77.5, your only risk is that Colorado cools off and Marquette slows the pace or gets sloppy on O as they lose interest.

You wonder how long Colorado can hang around before fatigue sets in. They don't have a deep rotation. 3rd game in 5 days. Marquette makes you play hard, intense minutes.

Didn’t You predict Creighton would lose because of the hero shot by Trey?
Obviously Cousinard was a hero then ran out of gas, but what a game by him & they’re big. Set a record with like 25 successful pick & rolls before McDermott finally figured it out and blitzed it - that combined with fatigue & big guy in the game to get fouled & miss 1-n-1 was the game.

Do you understand how percentages work?

Great half for Marquette. Bigs for Colorado dont appear to bring much to the table. 44 has 9 pts but he doesnt seem like a big offensive weapon and looks arguably bad on D
