Holy crap - only 7 fouls called in the first half for Oregon (4) and Creighton (3). How is that possible?

Is anyone scared of Illinois? Honest Q.
If the big east is as good as we all seem to think it is we shouldn't be worried.

I hope so . I won big money today betting against Kansas and I rolled all the winnings into creighton cover.

Agreed! ESPN was a master of switching between close games back when about 3-4 games would tip within a few minutes of each other. Now the tips are much more spread out so you have less games finishing up around the same time.

Honestly they worry me because of their starting/backup big. Shannon too, would easily be the best perimeter player Castle will be tasked with guarding and he's an older dude.
 
You'd never know Kalkbrenner was the DPOY of the Big East.

He's being bullied by a guy who has scored all of Oregon's 14 points so far in the 3rd qtr with 12 minutes left to go.

How did everyone miss Scheierman? He had no high or even mid major offers out of high school, did he?
 
This statement is gonna come out of nowhere but I just realized that when I was a kid Georgia tech was a force, i haven't seen a Georgia tech game in 15v years. Are they even a team?

Typically the services rank guys based on NBA potential. If a guy is still in school at 23 and not necessarily on draft boards, they weren’t wrong.
 
Creighton shooting just UGH!. And that was a charge earlier by Oregon. Why can't the refs get it right when an offensive player charges in with his shoulder and then tries to toss up a fake shot?
 
Alexander has missed four two pointers this half. I thought the short game was his bread and butter.
