Top 3 Things You Want To See Saturday At USC- Game is on Fox at 5:30 pm.

Strong effort against DePaul but USC will be looking for an upset at home so we have to be ready. Here are my top 3 things:

1) Whether up by 20, down by 10 or tied, a third quarter that is fifth gear, relentless and statement worthy.

2) More Blanca and Kayleigh coming in and creating havoc on defense and driving and hitting 3s.

3) Jana and Serah to combine for 20 not 19, and to get 10 boards this game.

1. A strong defensive plan to completely take Jazzy out of the game.
2. Us to shoot a minimum 20 3's and make at least 9 of them.
3. K9 to have a great game in her return back to USC.

USC is probably the most athletic team UConn has played so far this season.....I want to see them continue implementing that lock down defense, hit their threes and control the boards......ultimately, I just want a win and no injuries!

USC starts slow - Jazzy can take a half to really get going. I think the UConn press is really going to disorient them.

1. Come out strong, build up a good lead in the 1st quarter and maintain that lead
2. Dominate the paint

During Geno’s presser after the DePaul game he implied that he wants 1/3 of the shots taken to be 3-pointers.

Let’s see that, keep up the tough defense all game long and limit Jazzy by making her give up the ball.
