So here we go. Our Terrific Threesome (TT) of Paige, Azzi and Sarah will be together again on the court. Seton Hall has a strong player in Faith Masonius, a transfer from Maryland who attended Manasquan High in New Jersey, a basketball powerhouse, where the Mabrey sisters played. They also have freshman point guard Jada Eads who is averaging about 15 a game. There are a lot of loose ends we are working on to tie up but here are my top 3:

1) The TT starts to really form as a triple scoring threat within the half court offense and in transition.

2) Jana to jump when she shoots a lay up or put back, not to bring the ball down, and not to start every smove with a dribble. Keep the ball up, use your legs and size, and shoot a baby jump shot.

3) KK and KC to not begin every fast break with a dribble but rather a pass unless there is a clear path. Dribbling slows the break or transition down.

We are at our home nest, the winter break rust has hopefully been shaken off, and now is the time to fly. As the poet said, "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?". Spring as in March Madness, that is.

1) The TT acronym is not something that continues. ;)
2) The bench continues to get PT and better.
3) Our hobbling wounded returning to action.

1. a "healthy" WIN!
2. A wonderful demonstration of positionless / team basketball
for Kaleena and the "BEAN".
3. Two verbal commitments from "YOU KNOW WHO" (soon
or in the future... one can dream... right??)

I kept thinking you were referring to a golf TeeTime!

It is time for Geno to start getting this team ready for the tournament. The core players need to play better together and they need to work on their team defense off the ball. I understand the conference is very weak but playing 20 minutes doesn't prepare the team physically for the tournament.

1. I would like to see a lot of Paige, Azzi, Sarah, Jana and Morgan on the floor working together. To me this is their best 5 that also has some length in the game
2. Ash continue to improve as the number 1 off the bench. It seems she is settling into that role and has been playing good ball.
3. KK to become the key player off the bench to spell Paige and Azzi. This would mean that KC would assume a role that would be minutes as needed.
3.5 I would like to see Morgan look to score just a little bit.

Ok, TT is disfavored. Come up with name and acronym for the 3 of them.

1. Six players in double figure. 2. Five players with 4 or more assists. 3, Less than 10 team turnovers.

Please excuse my sarcasm.
1. Jana wins an opening tip.
2. Jana scores a layup when guarded by someone near her own size.
3. Either Jana or Ice steps up and clearly wins the primary Big role. We are getting at this point in the season when Geno needs to understand the difference between potential and performance he can count on.

Would also add:
1. Would love to see Cheli/Ziebell turned loose to shoot at will. In addition to being fun to watch, I think we will be looking at the starting sharp shooters for next year.
2. Kk to keep shooting. Overall, she appears to be gaining confidence on the offensive side. Always a menace on defense.
3. Hope will so much talent that Shade continues to get her minutes. Watching her run hard every minute, outrebound players 2-4" taller than her, and shoot that funky looking jumper brings a smile.

Should be interesting as Geno decides on his top 7-8.

Seton Hall has a pretty effective full court press. It gave Georgetown more trouble than UConn's did. They are a smaller team than UConn, though, so the bigs, including Sarah, will need to step up.

1. Paige score at least 6 points in the 1st quarter to get the 2,000 points plateau out of the way.

2. At least 5 players in double figures

3. A resounding win where everyone eats.

Kaleena and Sydney are class of 2028. It’s a little early to commit, especially for top players that will likely have a lot of options.
