Top 3 Things You Want To See Against Notre Dame on Sunday

After a respite from this brutal out of conference schedule thanks to the Friars, here are my top 3 things this Sunday against Notre Dame:

1) A win, plain and simple:

2) Everyone stays out of foul trouble, especially Nika and Aaliyah:

3) Winning the battle of the boards, with great defense all around.

We know who we are and what we can do. Let's go do it!

1. Caroline plays more and better (as always, this is my first wish)

2. Lou torches them from the perimeter (Take that, Lauren Ebo)

3. Nika's defense drives Miles to distraction, who then gets ejected for two technicals

So far I am 6-0. My mantra is 1. do what you have been doing the last 6 games. 2. Do what you have been doing the last 6 games. And finally, 3. Do what you have neen doing the last 6 games!!! GO HUSKIES!!!

Given the overwhelming skill advantage UConn has over Providence (to the point I was feeling sorry for them and began rooting for them make a basket), little can be learned from that game. But Caroline shot well and with confidence, and I want to see more of that.

Lou with 30 points. Azzi is the best player, but Lou has the potential to be the team’s highest scorer.

You got it. Caroline to play more, and drill 5 or 7 3's. Lou, to show the DIV 1 world who she really is. . Miles needs some work on her. ND isn't the ND of yesteryear. I don't need them driven into dust, just a straight decent win on ND's home floor.
