We will meet South Carolina again in either the Semis or Finals and win but for now, here are my top 3 things against Marquette on Wednesday night:

1) A win;

2) Dorka to return to form;

3) Caroline for a few minutes.

We are going to improve and become even more determined after yesterday's game and with reinforcements coming, we will be a different team with much more offensive punch.

1) A double/double for Nika
2) Caroline
3) 10 minutes for DeBerry

1. A nice bounce back win
2. No injuries
3. The return of Caroline

No let down after Sunday's tough game.
Better rebounding numbers.
Hold Marquette to under 60 points.
I agree with your first point. I am concerned about a letdown from the tremendous effort put forth in the SC game. What makes me less concerned it the tenacity constantly displayed by this group. Counting on our leader, Nike, to not let that happen.

Rest and recover today, light practice tomorrow and 20+ pt win Wednesday. Our schedule is giving us a little more rest time than the last 12-13 days did.

Pretty much, that same energy, intensity, and effort as yesterday against South Carolina.

-DeBerry shooting from the key
-DeBerry blocking shots
-Caroline playing 5 minutes in each half

Yes, thankfully. We have the next 5 games in 16 days instead of 12 like this last brutal cycle with the first two weeks being Wednesday and Saturday games. I am looking forward to Wednesday night, especially if we see Caroline even if only briefly.

1. "A Nice EASY win over Marquette by 30 Points
2. Our Starting 5 is able to get significant in game breaks for rest
3. Caroline Ducharme for at least 8 minutes (4 minutes each half)

1. Heavy emphasis on rebounding. I’m talking boxing out, jumping to the ball, running to the ball, or basically whatever it takes to secure the rebound
2. Ayanna defending without fouling. She’s so athletic and strong, but sometimes she tries to do too much with that. Stand your ground, don’t leave your feet unless you have to, and practice the defensive fundamentals.
3. Some smiles! I loved the intensity everyone played with during the SC game, but I want this game to be easier mentally and physically. I hope they get a few minutes here and there where they laugh and smile!

More than anything now, after reading the posts of BYers that were at the SC game, I want to see one game where the officials follow the rules and call holds and pushes as fouls and grabbing the jersey as a technical foul. It's time this game got cleaned up and became basketball again.

A bounce-back win against a team that kept it close at Gampel on New Year's Eve.
A statement game of domination on both boards.
The luxury -- as opposed to the necessity -- of making substitutions.

1. Caroline
2. No let down after a big game
3. Control turnovers

1. Amari playing at least one full quarter
2. Ayanna playing easy, contributing, getting the speed of the game
3. return of Caroline

Marquette is physical and well-coached. I want to see:

1. A comfortable win.

2. Strong shooting--over 50%--especially from Lou and Liya.

3. Keeping turnovers down to 12 or fewer.

Nika again having a strong first quarter, getting the team out fast off the blocks
Lou getting the fouls against her CALLED (starting a new trend)
Caroline working her way back into the rotation (at least 10 minutes) and Azzi all set to be 'next up'

I may be more excited about watching today’s game than the SC game. How peculiar.

Been watching since Diana days... When we watch, we like to think: UConn 25/quarter, opponent 15/quarter... nice round numbers. Never quite happens like that, but when it does, that means that quarter was fun to watch. So "60 points" for Marquette... sounds about right.
