Top 3 Things You Want To See Against Marquette On Wednesday Night

Nika again having a strong first quarter, getting the team out fast off the blocks
Lou getting the fouls against her CALLED (starting a new trend)
Caroline working her way back into the rotation (at least 10 minutes) and Azzi all set to be 'next up'

I may be more excited about watching today’s game than the SC game. How peculiar.

No let down after Sunday's tough game.
Better rebounding numbers.
Hold Marquette to under 60 points.
Been watching since Diana days... When we watch, we like to think: UConn 25/quarter, opponent 15/quarter... nice round numbers. Never quite happens like that, but when it does, that means that quarter was fun to watch. So "60 points" for Marquette... sounds about right.

Hoping for a 15 point win
Four to five players in double figures
CD and Patterson fitting in nicely

Last opponent Caroline played against was Marquette. Wouldn’t it be fitting for her to make her return against Marquette? That’s what I’d like to see.

1) No let down same energy
2) Continue with TO's down
3) Caroline to play just a little

I expect to see UConn play well tonight as they work on what they had trouble doing in the last game. I keep hearing that they did poorly rebounding (they didn't do as well as SC) but remember they had far less chances for offensive rebounds than SC as UConn shot a whole lot better.

Tonight: 1. play great UConn basketball all 4 quarters. 2. No one get injured. 3. Mix in all available players and still have #1 happen for the win.

Marquette play with ordinary physicality or have the refs call the #$%@ fouls

Our wounded warriors make cameo appearances and come out sound

Lou shoots lights out

No let down from the SC game;

Great shooting game from Lou;

Unlike most posters, I do not want to see CD in the game. If the staff thinks she is ready, then wait another 7-10 days, just to be overly cautious. My fear is if she is not 110% over her concussion problem then she is susceptible to getting another, which would be 1) awful for her and 2) bad to the team. If she has another head/upper neck problem, she is lost for the year, something neither she nor the team wants.

I am concerned about a letdown from the tremendous effort put forth in the SC game. What makes me less concerned it the tenacity constantly displayed by this group. Counting on our leader, Nike, to not let that happen.
I know you didn't mean to write "Nike," but our fiery, dynamic point guard does embody a certain "Just do it" attitude, doesn't she? ;)

1) 15 points from the bench
2) no 5 second inbound infractions
3) coach not complaining about refs and/or getting a technical
