There was no angle showing actual contact. They had to stay with the call.

It's not that clear. You can see the back of his fingers approach the ball, you can see the shadow of his hand seemingly close upon his hand almost as if they meet, but it's impossible to discern if it actually touched. There didn't seem to be any change in the flight of the ball which would be the most obvious tell in that instance.
 
For the first time, I am not a fan of instant replay. I can't think of an instance when I was like, "We don't need replay there."

The guy slapped the ball out of the other guy's hands. If you're going to say that was off the player in control of the ball, you can make that argument every single time that happens.

The best angle anyway on that replay was from behind but CBS doofuses only showed that angle once.
 
congrats to Virginia. I don't know how to feel about this. They cheated defeat and were lucky on many occasions. But they are also very good.
 
UVA coud return all their starters, but doubt Hunter stays
 
Was rooting very hard for Texas Tech but I can live with Virginia. After what happened last year it’s a good story. Also happy because it wasn’t one of the usual suspects.
 
They won a title because of their superb free throw shooting. We lost many games this year because we couldn’t get to the line or were dreadful from the line. Hope our guys are watching this and seeing the importance of draining shots at the line.
 
Bennett deserves a title. Incredible coach.

Extremely impressive that they could respond to that calamity last season with a championship the next season. Much respect to Virginia.
