No it came in contact with the back of his fingers.

There was no angle showing actual contact. They had to stay with the call.

It's not that clear. You can see the back of his fingers approach the ball, you can see the shadow of his hand seemingly close upon his hand almost as if they meet, but it's impossible to discern if it actually touched. There didn't seem to be any change in the flight of the ball which would be the most obvious tell in that instance.
