Wednesday was Bottom Feeder Awareness Day (BFAD). Thursday it starts to get real. Bubbles will be bursting.

ACC (all games shown on regional sports network)
Syracuse (5) vs. Virginia (12) (11am ET).
N. Carolina (8) vs. Georgia Tech (9) (2pm)
Clemson (7) vs. Virginia Tech (10) (6pm).
Florida St (6) vs. Duke (11) (8pm). Can Duke score another upset? :)

SEC (all games on SEC Network)
Tennessee (8) vs. LSU (9) (12pm ET). Could be a play-in game for the NCAA tournament.
Missouri (5) vs. Florida (13) (2pm).
Georgia (7) vs. Arkansas (10) (6pm)
Auburn (6) vs. Alabama (11) (8pm)

Big Ten (all games on Big Ten Network)
Northwestern (8) vs. Michigan St (9) (12pm ET)
Ohio St (5) vs. Wisconsin (13) (25 minutes after previous game)
Minnesota (7) vs. Indiana (10) (6:30pm). Indiana's at-large bid could be at stake.

Its always interesting to see how those Seniors perform who are on teams that are not assured of a post-season tournament play. Faith Suggs (sr) from Duke had her career high of 16 pts. She was as aggressive as Ive ever seen her play in a Duke uniform. Two of the Pitt seniors #1 and #4 played well in their last game for Pitt.

in terms of Thursday's ACC action. Syracuse should have no problems with UVA. Then it gets interesting. Tech is playing without its head coach and 2 starters. That school down the road will be without #44 and Stephanie Watts. I think Tech is gonna feast inside an on the boards and should win. Clemson hasnt been favored in a ACC tournament game in nearly 20 years. Will they feel the pressure of being on the NCAA tournament bubble.. especially since they are led by senior guards. Ive had the feeling all week that VPI is gonna be playing on Friday........ as long as Magarity stays out of foul trouble.

Chicken Souvlaki with Feta Cheese.... to be exact. My souvlaki spot is about 4 minutes away from the Coliseum :D I normally dont drink soda... but had to get me a cup of Cheerwine

Tennessee "should win." But hasn't Tennessee made a habit of losing games it's supposed to win?

On paper Tennessee should definitely win but Tennessee tends to drop the ball whenever they aren’t suppose to.

If Tennessee applies a lot of pressure on our guards, it’s gonna be a run away for them. We have gotten worse throughout the season handling the ball and cannot stop the turnovers.

I expect a tough game as this is a must win game for both teams.

As a LSU fan, I’m not very confident about this one
 
As a Sun Devil fan I need to share with you my worry and potential upset. The Lady Devils beat Colorado twice this year the first time by only six points. I believe Kennedy Leonard is back and playing. This is an early game and look for potential upset on the part of Colorado.

if the Devil's due get by Colorado they're going to face a chainsaw in UCLA who is playing the best basketball in the Pac-12 recently.

As to the Arizona SC contest I'm not sure that that really does have bubble implications both are destined for the Wnit in my view. it will be interesting to see McDonald for the wildcats versus the sisters at Southern Cal. This is actually is going to be the best game of the day in the Pac12

This is a great time of year for women basketball fans.

First time I have seen a side to side bobblehead - Holly W.
She seemed to have spent a lot of time on the sidelines just shaking her head.

Important win for Syracuse, probably just locked up a hosting spot. They play Miami next, and a loss will not likely hurt them.
 
Although LSU had the lead at half time and still lead with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, I think the Lady Vols will win this game. LSU is more out of sync on offense then the Lady Vols are. Don't understand why LSU players just outside of the three point line are begging for the ball, but then aren't ready to shoot when they get the ball. Most of the time they have enough space to shoot a good three point shot.

You know you're in bad shape when your offense is *more* out of sync than Tennessee's :)

(Although maybe I shouldn't be talking because come to think of it UConn's offense was pretty darn out of sync vs. South Florida :()
 
49-47 LSU after 3. I think Westbrook can and will take over in the 4th. Unless she picks up her 4th foul.
