Being named MVP of the Enfield Youth Center Basketball League.

Pitching a complete game to clinch a playoff spot on senior day in high school

Scoring a hat trick in lacrosse against the Coast Guard Academy my freshman year. Decisive win.

Winning the hotshot competition at Kevin
Ollie basketball camp in summer 2008. Before he was on the staff he used to hold it at Loomis Chaffe.

Not screwing up the shotgun snap that eventually led to a 70-yard game winning touchdown in high school.

Starting a brawl in men's slow-pitch softball . . .

Throwing 9 scoreless over two days (18 inning marathon) my Junior year of high school against Rocky Hill, who at the time was one of the better teams in the state.

As a team, clinching a playoff spot in high school volleyball by overcoming a 2-1 set deficit (2 points away from defeat in the 4th set).

It was an away game, and the other team was the team we were competing for the last spot with. Their fans were such s.

On the other end of the spectrum, my golf team in high school missed the playoffs all 4 years by a combined 7 strokes. Horrible.

1. Starting QB on Southington Memorial Park Cardinals Football team - back to back Town Champs.
Family then moved out of Southington to a town with NO HS FB.

2. Scoring my only HS Soccer goal - header off corner kick 1 minute left in game - under the lights in Winsted.

1. Starting QB on Southington Memorial Park Cardinals Football team - back to back Town Champs.
2. Scoring my only HS Soccer goal - header off corner kick 1 minute left in game - under the lights in Winsted.

Family then moved out of Southington to a town with NO HS FB.

Didn't know you grew up in Southington, so did I.

My best memory is hitting a walk-off double vs. Avon in Legion ball in like the 14th inning. Or going 4-5 vs. #1 Greenwich in the Legion tournament with 4 RBI's.

I went to The Prout School in Rhode Island, class of 2004.

Came out of a nasty scrum with the ball during a HS rugby game and ran about 30-40 yards with visions of grandeur dancing in my head...until I realized that the screams from my teammates and coach were not cheers, but rather their pleas imploring me to turn around because I was running the wrong way.

Went to DePaolo too. Couldn't stand that school.

13 yr old me saved a kid from drowning in Lake Quassy. Fidgety basted almost pulled me down with him.

Oh, and for a basketball memory. I never got higher than JV, but I once had a play where the other team was called for a technical and I was chosen to take the FTs. I made both. Then I hit a 3 on the inbounds pass. 5 points in about 1 second of game time.

When I was in about 2nd grade, one time I kicked up the soccer ball reaaaaaaaly high in the air and the kids were like "wow".

Really - it was all downhill from there, sports-wise.

Also gonna add that I had the displeasure of guarding a freshman Drummond when he was at Capitol Prep. 20 pts and 15 rebs later we went zone.

@junglehusky Not that this is a competition or anything, but right now you are neck in neck, for my money, with @SubbaBub, and he saved a life.

Nothing fantastic. My best memory is throwing a kid out at the plate from center in little league.
