I wouldn’t mind Dixon at all. He was a UConn killer to a certain extent. He is a Creighton killer for sure. Plus, his outside shooting will force opposing rim protecting centers away from the basket.

Which is what we thought about Spencer before he got here. Hurley has shown a willingness to use these guys beyond the stand on the line, catch and shoot. I suspect a lot of players have more in their game and don’t get to show it.

I didn’t think that of Spencer. I knew he could create and be aggressive getting into the passing lanes. Obviously I didn’t know just how good he’d be, but he showed a lot at Rutgers. This kid shot averaged 0.5 apg. But I trust the staff.

Putting Ware in the game is the equivalent of telling the opposing coach you've decided to play 5 on 4 for a few minutes. If he brings something to the table, it’s hard to see what it is. Folding chair level defense?

Nowell hasn’t played a game yet

No well is part Pit/Bulldog and Part Husky. He’s physically gifted beyond his freshman years. A more gifted Kadary Richmond IMO.
