Yes, I agree, but there's a lot of bb games left. This would be best case for UConn. All the bigs on the other side. I’ll take our chances with Louisville for a 2nd matchup in the FF

At this point, it's pretty safe to say that, barring any significant upsets (which itself is not a safe assumption), the ACC tournament will determine who gets the Chicago regional. The loser may end up in Portland. That would be very rough on ND if they were placed in the PNW against Oregon as a 1-seed 2 years running.
Well if they win out then they go to Chicago, it's in their hands. That would be very rough on ND if they were placed in the PNW against Oregon as a 1-seed 2 years running.

I know the system dictates that Louisville gets Chicago but I think with these 4 1-seeds it makes a lot of sense to put ND in Chicago, Louisville in Greensboro and Baylor in Portland.
Bay is closing in on clear overall #1 seed. They're not gonna be in Portland.
None of the regional locations is near them. What does it matter? Every location is a flight for them and their fans.
Because playing Oregon as a 2 seed in Oregon is a terrible reward for being the overall #1.
It's not about their fans; it's about their opponent's fans in this case.
There is even some suggestion that the committee wouldn't put Bay with NCS as a 2 in Greensboro. In contrast that doesnt intimidate me at all. One, the fan support is nowhere close, and second NCS is nowhere as good as Ore.
I thought Syracuse's attendance for WBB was abysmal?Agreed. ND has one more major pre-tournament hurdle to clear on Monday. Syracuse will likely have something like 12k fans in attendance.

From the game recap from when the Irish visited Cuse 2 years ago:I thought Syracuse's attendance for WBB was abysmal?
Fans shows up when their team plays ND. At about every ACC School when ND shows up they usually have season high attendance.I thought Syracuse's attendance for WBB was abysmal?
2300 per game last yearI thought Syracuse's attendance for WBB was abysmal?

Thankfully they didn't break a record to see that beatdown. Only 3rd best.
I would guess 4 of their top 10 games have been blowout losses.
Apparently Syracuse is getting snow and high winds today. Anyone who stayed home is surely glad they didn't drive through a near-blizzard to see that
Yes high winds on the east coast yday.
But snow? That's just Monday in SYRA.
Sure, the snow is nothing out of the ordinary. It's the wind gusts of 50-65 mph blowing the snow around that makes driving difficult.
