The dream isn't over.Excellent read. What could have been.
The dream isn’t but the reality makes it unlikely. It’s crazy how it basically had to be a perfect storm NOT to be invited to a P5 conference. The dream isn't over.
The quotes at the end should scare everyone. It isnt about p5 at this point, we just need to get to 6-6 to save our program. The dream isn’t but the reality makes it unlikely. It’s crazy how it basically had to be a perfect storm NOT to be invited to a P5 conference.
Oh well.
Agree somewhat. This seemed a fair read about an unfortunate circumstance and the contributing factors.I rarely read anything written by Andrea A$$inine as she's always had an anti-UConn bent dating back to her days covering Big East football. Even this article seems like it was written & put in a file ddrawer until Jim Mora's name could be inserted.
Can't disagree more. Bob didn't have to say that, I don't think we can give him enough credit here.Discos buyout includes a non-disparagement clause. Let’s not give him too much credit
Agreed. It's also probably his most coherent statement related to UConn ever. Can't disagree more. Bob didn't have to say that, I don't think we can give him enough credit here.
Bad take, he could have said nothing. Nice to see him own his mistakes and take it like a man, he is the opposite of Edsall as a human being.2 things.

Article underscores how FCS our trustees are. They alone give me zero confidence. How there was no blowback on them is incomprehensible. They should have all submitted their resignation.
The guy's take is already stale. The timing is a little odd though huh? You can football has been a suck fest all year long, but on the day after we have positive news about a great new coach hire ESPN writes an article talking about how the University of Connecticut is footballs biggest loser.
Well..it was his failures in those areas that led to losing games. He doesn't have to get into specifics...we all know what goes into winning.Regarding Diaco, it wasn't just winning games. The talent level, his actions, his thoughts, the way he treated people all went into the decision. He still doesn't get it.
