Guess i'll throw in a TYA cut, this from Woodstock where they hit it out of the park, all members of the band were firing on all cylinders:

Alvin Lee never gets much credit but he was one hell of a lead guitarist. Amazing solo on "I'm going home"

Ok and older kinda obscure song Brewers and Shipley's "One Toke Over the Line".

Now to take it to the really obscure........ Lawrence Welk.

Yes, they actually did this. (next week I believe they cover Herion by Velvet Underground)

Feelin' Higher - an obscure but good tune from the McGuinn-Clark-Hillman collaboration from the late 70's:

Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
Chicken Train.
1976.

Thread title includes "The Obscure". How about a mouth bow and clucking for obscure?
:p:D;)

OK, does anyone remember this old, forgotten, obscure "Word Jazz" gem? I used to listen to my copy and remember just shaking my head. (I didn't buy it. It was a gift.) The full title is "I used to think my right hand was uglier than my left."

Ozark Mtn Daredevils - great group back in the day - now pretty forgotten about.

When I lived in Colorado this one got a lot of airplay:
