So how's everyone's brackets doing?
IF UK wins 3 of 4 for the final four. (I had Oregon and Zags making it too).

Michigan, SC and SMU (d'oh) were my s16 dark horses though, with michigan being one my e8 teams (so close).

Frank Martin in the final 4, lol
He seems like a likable, humble guy. Don't know too much about him. But it beats seeing Florida..again...for like the 4th or 5th time since 2000 (in the final four I mean)

From the Bob Huggins coaching tree. Was an assistant here. Some people wanted us to hire him but he was too close to Huggins at the time. Same personality.

Love this South Carolina team. The way they play defense reminds me of our team in 2014. Anytime a team plays defense like that they have a chance. They have a serious shot at winning it all. This is why I am glad we have a guard oriented hard nosed defensive coach in KO. It is a proven recipe for success.

We should be scouring Europe for another impact player. That kid from Montenegro was pretty darn good for SC.

Before this tourney SCarolina had won a total of 4 NCAA tourney games ever (1972 & '73), and 2 of those were regional 3rd place games (they had those way back when - guess those count in the records).

Talk about coming out of nowhere.

SC does remind me of Uconn 2014. Thornwell is like a slightly less talented version of Kemba (but to be fair, Kemba is one of the best college guards to lace up). Thornwell knows how to get to the line, which I like. He is not automatic, but you almost never say to yourself "what is he doing" when he gets the ball in the paint...well, for the four or five games I have seen him play in.

Sindarious Thornwell is a beast and playing lights out this tournament. Averaging 25+ pts this tourney
USC is creating turnovers, playing great D and getting to the line a lot. It's tough to beat a team doing all of that well. Can't wait to see them in the FF

Maybe, anyways we should be looking
Ya, that is what I have said in a few threads in the past. Please Uconn, go to Europe! Get a Croatian or Lithuanian or German or something! They might not always have as much raw talent as some Brooklyn baller or whatever, but the basketball IQ is generally higher than the aforementioned, it is very high...They just...GET the fundamentals of the game, FT shooting, good screens and pick n' rolls, box outs, etc. I like how bball is being taught in some of these Euro countries. Maybe Ollie can even find a well established coach who has Euro ball experience, dunno.

UNC seeking 20th final 4, most ever? Ok, go Kentucky...that settles it. I could not figure out who I wanted to win. Now I know. Although I had an ex who went to UNC, so, yah, UK! And then lose to Oregon please.

UNC is the NCAA golden child (more then Duke or maybe even UCLA), they can do no wrong.

Both these teams can rot in hell.

Who did Grant Hill say reminds him of Rip Hamilton? Didn't catch it.
