I guess we can get mad at Jackson Dart for being goodGiants continue to be the only team in the NFL that doesn't understand the value of tanking
Not mad at Dart for being good, mad at the coaches that he was even in that game to look goodI guess we can get mad at Jackson Dart for being good
If we win Sunday there's a good chance they're picking 7th
Damn I remember watching him with Phil Simms when I was a kid.Just got back from visiting my wife’s family and just learned that my niece’s BF’s grandpa is Lionel Manuel. Go figure!
Well be mad the Giants went from the #2 pick to the #5 pick just based on today's games. That means if Dante Moore changes his mind and enters the draft, the Giants winning means they missed on being able to get a king's ransom for trading the #2 pick to a QB needy team. While I am infinitely confident that the result of the Chiefs-Raiders game would have been different if we had lost today, to further my anger at how we finished the season, the way things shook out, we would have had the first pick in the draft if we did lose today.
oof.I know the drop from 1 to 5 doesn't seem like the end of the world when you don't need a QB, but this is why the Giants desperately needed that trade down. They have a long wait after their round 2 pick

I've been down on the Giants, but with a good hire at head coach and some smart FA moves this roster is definitely playoff caliber. Why I believe either of those will happen is beyond me though
Yeah Thibodeaux should be on the list and I'd keep Okereke too. Wandale and Eluemunor are both free agents so still TBD if they stay, though I hope they bring both back. Both are getting $20M+ so my hopes are low thoughNo Thibs in this list and Cutting Okereke? No wanDale? Can’t count on Skatt after that injury. Elumenor should be RT. I also think Deonte Banks stays. Neal, Hyatt, Gano, Hudson are gone

Consensus is they'll go after a proven coach, I think if Stefanski wants to come that's a no brainer choice and you get it done. McCarthy is also probably a good choice, a bit like Thibs with the Knicks. The knock on him is 12 wins and an early exit which is miles better than anything the Giants have had for 15 years.Washington went 2-2 to end the season including a win over your Giants. they could have had a top 4 pick. Without a 2nd or 4th rounders, they have to create capital with the #7 pick. Luckily they have the 6th most money under the cap (expected to be somewhere between $295M and $305M) with nearly $90M and very little dead space, but only 47 players signed.
First things first for the Giants is their coach. I know it's early, but what is the general consensus about who to bring in? Most of the names I've seen so far are retreads (Stefanski, McCarthy, Pierce, Nagy), but I'm sure I haven't seen a comprehensive list.

My personal list would be Stefanski, Chris Shula (with Kingsbury as the OC), then McCarthy. Honorable mentions for Kubiak and Hafley
But not as a HC maybe an OCKingsbury is now available. I really hope he (or Antonio Pierce for that matter) end up in E. Rutherford.
He would be my first choice.Forget everything I said. Give me John Harbaugh
Feels like the Giants just got a gift from Baltimore. I think Florres may be the target for the Ravens.Forget everything I said. Give me John Harbaugh
I'll be the biggest Bills and Eagles fan in America this weekend, otherwise I suspect the Giants will no longer be the spot for HarbaughFeels like the Giants just got a gift from Baltimore. I think Florres may be the target for the Ravens.
Can I like this 100 times!Forget everything I said. Give me John Harbaugh
Even at Pick 5, I'm still in camp "trade the pick if you can" even though it doesn't look like there will be a third QB that team's are going to move that high for that spot.I know the drop from 1 to 5 doesn't seem like the end of the world when you don't need a QB, but this is why the Giants desperately needed that trade down. Eagles? I get the possibility McDermott could be gone, McDaniels isn't safe either. But who's getting fired from Philly or the Niners? If the Eagles are that dumb, then just grab Sirianni, he may well be an upgrade on Harbaugh.I'll be the biggest Bills and Eagles fan in America this weekend, otherwise I suspect the Giants will no longer be the spot for Harbaugh
