so Schon’s. 3rd pick is now officially a head case? And with that he hasn’t done Sheeeat on the field

I've never seen a kicker just completely miss the ball like that. Naturally it's the Giants
Charlie Brown missed when Lucy pulled the ball away. But yeah. I have done that with a golf club.

at least they didn;t have to worry about losing late because they never in the game from the start. It almost was a brilliant plan for Koo with the stub kick and having gillen take it for the first down try.

Last night's game was an exceptional Exhibit A on the difference between having an adult in charge vs running a clown show. To add to anger towards what I saw, there are a couple posters on the football section of this forum throwing Daboll's name out as a potential replacement for Mora.

The worst thing that can happen to a football team is to have someone in a leadership position who allows stupidity.

Daboll is not the main problem Schoen has to go.

I fully agree that Schoen has to go. The overall lack of discipline (on many levels) that this team repeatedly demonstrates is on the guy who was in charge of what went on in practices and on the field the past few years. Which leads to why I want that nowhere near out football program.

At this point I'm on board with Schoen going so it's a fresh start for a new coach and GM. But he's also put together a roster with enough talent to theoretically be 7-6 with a competent coach right now. A competent coach doesn't blow 5 4th quarter double digit point leads

I made an honest effort to watch, but turned it off mid-third quarter. It's just pointless when a game spins out of control like it did.
I don't mind losses, I just want hard-fought games.

BTW, I heard some Giants/Carter immaturity chatter on Boomer/Gio show. Here's an article relating to it.

Schoen put Daboll in charge which was his first mistake of many, the latest maybe being Abdul Carter

Im not ready to label Abdul Carter a mistake, but if anyone needed a coach who placed a high priority in discipline and putting team needs ahead of personal desires this kid is high on the list.

I agree about Carter so I said maybe. I don't think he had a good first year but then again the entire defense underperformed this year so its hard to tell about any single player.

The Giants will never be good again I have already come to accept that reality. Spare me the draft and having a top 5 pick they will screw that up too and even if they don't their still gonna suck.

at least they're not the Jets

If we do end up with the top pick in this draft we should be able to land a haul for that pick. I'm thinking an early (top 8 or so) first, early second (again, top 8 or so) and maybe fourth in the 26 draft, another first, a third and a fifth in 27.

An addendum to my above post:

If I were in charge I would order Kafka to start Russell Wilson for the remainder of the season
