The Official 2025 New York Giants Thread

Yeah but you are talking about the guy who gave up Barkley for nothing to see him become MVP, then give Daniel Jones a huge contract only to give him up for nothing only to watch him have an MVP season!
I would love to replace Schoen as well (stated it numerous times on this board and at least once earlier in this thread).

OMG Skattebo is going to be out for the year. That is so gruesome. I have never seen a person's foot completely stay twisted in another direction.

.-.
Looked like an ankle dislocation. My God and he just calmly pointed to his foot! Lots of complexity in that joint

What a terrible sports weekend. The loss to the Eagles whatever was highly unlikely to sweep the Eagles. It's the loss to the Saints and Broncos that hurts the most and the injuries suck. How is Shane Bowen still the D coordinator after last week it's disgusting. Daboll staying on still I at least understand that even though I get rid of him, Bowen I don't understand how he's still on the staff promote the Dline coach to interim DC who cares.

2nd and 31 and Philly hands off and gets the first down!! Are you kidding me!! Offensive pass interference on the 4th down TD was pretty marginal, especially with Slayton's shirt stretched out 3 yds. We didn't have voice at the bar I was at. It was a Patriots bar in New Hampshire but the consensus of 10 guys watching was a clean steal by Thibideau on the tush push. What was the commentary? We weren't going to win this game giving up 10 yds per carry but we can't beat both the Eagles and refs at the same time. We lose all our offensive linemen like 3 years in a row and now they stay healthy and we lose all our skill players. Geez

I heard a theory on the radio ( can't remember who but pretty sure it was on WFAN) that Daboll was holding on to Bowen until the end of the season so he had a scapegoat to save his job. The theory was that if he got rid of Bowen now and things continued the way they are now he has no one to blame at the end of the season.

Hated seeing the injury to Skattebo. He made the league fun the last few weeks and he’ll be missed. Hope he gets better quickly.

The commentary was Tom Terrific who I have to say it was my first time hearing him do color was pretty good. On the tush push apparently since forward motion was called the play ended? Commentators were dubious. The offensive interference call the commentators thought should have been a no call. The Athletic had a piece early today before the game that this ref crew through the least number of flags in the NFL. Maybe they decided to correct that discrepancy today! Still didn’t mean that much give the Gints inability to stop the run

The Skattebo injury has really killed any excitement I had as a fan for the season. The dude brought some much needed energy to this dead franchise. Who even knows if he can come back from this. Devastating injury for a rb to suffer.

While the Skattebo injury sure is deflating Jaxson Dart is still reason enough for me to keep watching

Apparently it is being reported that it was a hip drop tackle that should have been a foul?

Our secondary and our wide receivers are like wet tissue paper. WRs get zero yds after a catch and our DBs can't tackle
